Do I have permission to use your photographs on my blog or website?
You may include my photos on your site, but please be fair and include a credit to me by simply linking back to my blog, as my images are all copyrighted.
Likewise, I strive to always properly credit found images, but if you see a photo on this blog that belongs to you that is not credited and/or you wish to have it taken down, contact me and it will be removed immediately.
What kind of camera do you use?
I use my iPhone 5S for everyday photos, and either the Canon G11 or the Nikon D800 for home and portrait shots.
Who takes the pictures of you?
Outfit post photographs are by Richard Martin Photography. Home decor, food and drink, and beauty photos are taken by myself.
What program do you use to make your graphics?
I use Adobe Photoshop CC to edit my photos, and Adobe InDesign CC and/or Adobe Illustrator CC for my graphic design. To edit my iPhone photography, I use the ColorStory app on my iPhone 5S.
Which platform do you host your blog on?
I use a WordPress.org blog account.
How do you make money from your blog?
I make money through brand sponsorships and product reviews. I also make a small revenue by featuring ads and affiliate links on my site. An affiliate link is a link in which advertisers have agreed to pay a commission should a purchase be made from that click-through. All items promoted on High Heels and High Morals reflect my true, personal opinions. I do not promote items that I haven’t or wouldn’t purchase for myself, and I only feature brands that I support.
What’s your policy on working with brands?
I’m very selective about the brands I work with and only partner with brands/companies that are an ethical fit for High Heels and High Morals. This means that I only feature cruelty-free products and strive to work with eco-friendly companies whenever possible. Furthermore, I only feature products on the blog that I have purchased or would purchase for myself.
When it comes to sponsored posts, I will label the post as such (i.e. including a small, “Sponsored” post disclaimer at the bottom of the post). Unless specified as “Sponsored”, any brands and/or products mentioned in a post are truly supported by me, and I am not compensated for featuring them in that post. All items, paid or otherwise, promoted on High Heels and High Morals reflect my true, personal opinions.
Why was my comment not published?
Although I appreciate constructive feedback, I will not acknowledge or post comments that are inherently rude or offensive to myself or others. I want this blog to be a centre of positivity, so negative comments that are not conducive to the goals or vision of this blog will not be published.
Where did you buy that clothing item featured in your post?
I include all names and links to particular clothing items that I am wearing or featuring in a post whenever possible. If available, the links to purchase these items are included under the outfit photograph.
Where do you shop?
I purchase a majority of my clothes online, from retailers such as ASOS and Shopbop. In terms of my home goods, I often purchase items from Crate & Barrel, CB2, West Elm and Anthropologie.
